Cynthia Harding is a Oglala Lakota, Mexican American artist who began her story in Los Angeles, then relocated to South Dakota in her early teens. She spent her formative years either on the beaches of Southern California or running wild in the Black Hills. Finding her way through a troubled youth and then motherhood, solace was found in bringing beauty to the world and sharing her story through multiple avenues of vibrant art. She ‘found her way’ to and currently resides in Chicago, Illinois with her two children. She enjoys writing children’s stories, creating works of art, and alongside her sister, is active in youth empowerment through skateboarding on the Cheyenne River
Reservation in South Dakota.
